Instagram Tips To Help You Grow Your Audience

We all try to fit into the social media world but what is it that really makes people stand out? How is it that some average people have over 20k followers? Creating an attractive profile isn’t as hard as you think but you need to have motivation and consistency. This isn’t just useful for personal use, but many businesses are discovered and followed on Instagram as well. Let’s look at these tips for help:

Create An Attractive Bio

When users click on Instagram profiles, the first thing they see is your bio. It needs to be clear and attractive and describe who you are and what you do. I personally use my Instagram for personal and not professional use but that doesn’t stop me from gaining followers. My stage name for acting is used and my hobbies are listed as well as a project I recently filmed on with the link. Think about where you want to direct your followers when they read your bio.

Produce Unique Content

This content should be interesting for the followers you are tying to gain. Many of my posts can be simple family post but I make sure the photos are HIGH QUALITY. It’s important to have nice crisp photos. The more creative the photo, the better. Think outside the box, this is what will make your page unique.

Be Consistent in Posting

Posting at least once a week shows that you remain active and have an interest in growing your page. Ideally, if you post once a day (especially for business) you will be able to grow your page much quicker and have much more content to work with. If posting frequently is time consuming, but you have lots of content to work with, think about using a content scheduler to post for you. This is a tool that is used to automatically schedule to post whenever you aren’t able to do so.

Use Trending Hashtags

When you post photos all your followers are able to see them but how do we get new people to view them? You want to post trending but relatable hashtags. Instagram allows you to post up to 30 hashtags. In order to grow your account, I recommend maxing that out. If you need help seeing what is trending, I recommend downloading Hashme. This app can give you some great suggestions for hashtags on your post.

Engage With Your Followers and Potential Followers

It’s important to stay active with you followers. Follow them back, comment on their posts, and like their comments on yours. The more they see your name, the more your page will be seen by their followers. Potential followers can be found by specific hashtags that relate to you. Instagram allows you follow hashtags as well. Follow pages that seem relevant and interact with them as well. Showing interest in other people is important.
